I’ve got a plan for each of the issues you care about. And most importantly, I actually believe in my plan. You and I may disagree on a policy, but I’ll never lie to you. And I’ll ask the same question of every policy: Does this help improve the lives of the working families in our community?

• Financial Security: lower prices and taxes, affordable healthcare, and reduced property taxes

  • Families are being squeezed by higher prices at the grocery store, the gas pump, and in their property tax bills. Politicians continue to raise taxes while ignoring the real struggles at the kitchen table. Worse, politicians like my opponent vote themselves a pay raise and take on multiple government paychecks.

  • I will fight to rein in wasteful government spending, lower property taxes, and make sure healthcare is affordable and accessible for every family. You work hard for your paycheck; Springfield shouldn’t be allowed to take more of it away.

• Brighter Future: stronger schools, thriving trades, and real opportunities for families.

  • Every child deserves the chance to succeed. That means stronger schools, an emphasis on reading, math, and real-world skills, and supporting parents’ voices in their children’s education. It also means promoting career pathways in the trades and technical training so young people can build good-paying careers without being buried in debt. I’ll fight for policies that ensure Illinois offers real opportunity — not a reason for families to pack up and leave.

• Respect & Honesty: A leader who tells the truth, stands up for our community, and takes an honest approach to tough issues.

  • Leadership isn’t about smear campaigns or personal destruction. The Leadership you deserve solves problems and delivers results.

  • The politics practiced by my opponent is a politics of division, lies, and smears. Rather than tackle difficult issues, they attempt to resort to personal destruction. That is no way to run a state, and it says more about the integrity of those running the ads than they know.

  • Me? I’ll be honest, even when it is hard, and respect the people I serve: putting their needs first, not angling for another paycheck. I’ll always tell you where I stand and fight for our community with integrity.
